Hi its Emily!!
I know I haven't posted in a long long time but I have been so busy with band rehearsal. Today was POB with stands for Pageant of Bands. Our marching band has been putting a lot of long hours of practice for this competition, and 2 other competitions that will be coming up. We performed our marching show at Wilson stadium and were judged. It wasn't our best performance because 2 people fell, one person sprained is ankle and one the the flute players had an asthma attack but we were able to keep together. Drum line was able to do most of our stuff pretty well today. After our performance we watched the larger schools perform. Then finally we got to the awards ceremony. In our division we won 2nd place, best percussion, best woodwinds and the peoples choice award. We were all so happy. But the best part was after we looked at the total score for all the divisions put together we found out that our percussion group came in 2nd place! Today was a victorious day for marching band.
