Guilt

I have not sewn any thing for the children at the homeless shelter and I feel guilty. Like I have done something so very wrong. It has been a busy two weeks, first last week was spring break for me and my 2 youngest (spent it spring cleaning and running the kids around) and then this week my older boys were home on their spring break and work with the new triplets in the class has been rough.

I did pull out some fabric and patterns this evening, for boys only. I don't have much in the way of fabric that would be suitable for boys.  We found out that this past week the shelter has had nothing but boys, from new born to age 10.

I guess I better get busy.

Spring Break

It has been a busy month. I was sick the entire month of February. Co-works and family say I am sick every February something I need to watch because what ever I had was bad.
Work has been crazy, we got a set of triplets (who fight with each other and the boys don't let their sister speak for herself). Most of the kids have also been very sick and one may need a feeding tube. I am learning a lot of medical terms and how to deal with them, very over whelming.
We had a family get together the end of February for my dads birthday/anniversary. Can not believe he has been gone from this earth 4 years.

Other things that are going on and some sewing.

Softball has started, trying to make all the games (not doing a good job yet)

This guy is now a Boy Scout.

 Knit top size 5.

Light purple knit top, size 5.

Corduroy pants in pink and purple, size 5.

Summer dress in yellow. It has a sewn in slip, size 6.

It is also Girl Scout cookie time. We did some pre-orders, but not much and we are trying to do as many booth sales as we can, but softball is getting in the way. So we will do our best and sell as much as we can. That's all we can do.

I am on Spring Break this week (besides softball and cookie sales) and plan to clean house. I am also hoping to get some sewing in. We will see.

Erlinda
